Important Information for MSTF Participants

• You must apply for admission to ASU for Fall (not Summer) Semester 2008
• Please carefully follow all instructions from ASU’s Graduate Admissions Office relating to ASU’s residency and immunization requirements

You are already considered an ASU student if you took a course at ASU in Spring 2008 or Summer 2008; in this case you do not have to re-apply to ASU.

Non-degree AdmissionRequirements

1. Nonrefundable application fee (U.S. citizens non-degree graduate: $65; Non-U.S. citizens non-degree graduate: $80). Applications will not be processed until the fee is received.
2. U.S. bachelor's degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited institution. Transcripts and test scores are not required for admission as a non-degree graduate student.
3. Non-U.S. citizens (residing in the USA) must provide proof of USA visa/immigration

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON NON-DEGREE GRADUATE STUDY Non-degree students are limited to taking a maximum of 15 hours in one semester. There is no limit to the total cumulative credit hours you can take. However, there is a limit of credit hours you may apply towards a degree program if you decide to seek an advanced degree. Up to nine non-degree graduate-level credit hours taken at ASU prior to admission may be applied to master's degree requirements, and the maximum number of transfer credits is six credit hours.

The application to a graduate degree program is a formal process that includes submission of transcripts, letters of recommendation, GRE scores, strict deadlines, and competitive selection. Please see the instructions for the particular program in which you are interested.
