NAGPS regards the material submitted to this site to be expressions of personal opinion, and does not undertake to assess, verify or correct the accuracy of any submissions. NAGPS takes no responsibility for the accuracy, currency, content, or quality of any comments collected on this site. Please refrain from identifying individuals either by name or other identifying information and avoid making comments that could be libelous or slanderous. NAGPS reserves the right, but not the obligation, at its sole discretion, to edit or remove any comments.

Protecting Identity

Survey responses are posted anonymously.

Your individual responses will NOT be released (though individual written comments can be made available with your permission). We will only report aggregated responses, such as the frequency of a particular response for a given question. Program-level results will be publicly available for all programs which receive ten (10) or more responses. For programs with 5-9 responses, program-level results will be available to participants, program chairs, graduate student associations, and graduate deans.

Demographic data will NOT be released on a program-specific basis. This information is used only in aggregate and is, in no way, used to identify you as an individual.

Collection of E-mail Addresses

The e-mail address you supply will only be used in connection with The National Doctoral Program Survey. Addresses will not be released to any third party, including, but not limited to, doctoral programs, graduate student associations, professional associations or institutions.
