MSP Report to Congress Cites Benefits to Teaching and Learning

NSF program evaluators are finding that teachers engaged in professional development through MSP projects are showing significant gains in their reasoning and problem solving abilities, as well as their pedagogical content knowledge. The report points to professional learning communities as a promising practice and to gains in student math and science scores at elementary, middle and high school levels.
