    This course will introduce you to the processes and complexities of learning and understanding concepts of rate-of-change and function. Written assignments will include problems and activities to deepen your understanding of linear, quadratic, rational, exponential, and trigonometric functions, and to concurrently examine the complexities that students typically encounter in their journey to understand and use functions for scientific explorations. Our goal is for you to acquire knowledge and reasoning abilities that you need to prepare your students for success in mathematics, engineering and other areas of science.
